SHORT DESCRIPTION: The exhibition displays artifacts and several 1:10 scale replicas of traditional crafts from the Val Colvera. The coal shed, the water mill, the "stavolo" (traditional mountain hut), the smithy, the dairy, the stable, the bird hunting hut and the churches are among the many miniatures created by Carlin, an old craftsman from the valley, who spent forty years of his life creating these dioramas, all perfectly functional and built with the original materials and construction methods.
The exhibition has great historical value, as visitors can fully appreciate the depth and breadth of local craftsmanship. Carlin himself deserves credit for recreating an entire heritage with incredible patience and unparalleled skill.
