SHORT DESCRIPTION: This particular museum is located in Polcenigo, in the upper Livenza area, and takes its name from the long and prestigious "cooking" tradition typical of these areas. The Museum of Cooking Art was born to celebrate the chefs formed in the upper land, Specifically those who have emigrated to various parts of the world spreading their family tradition and thus making an important contribution to the history of regional, national and international cuisine.
It is an exhibition that reconstructs the work experience of the chefs of the upper Livenza and the lives in restaurants where they worked through letters, documents, photographs and testimonies of the same, which today have put their uniform in the drawer, But they make themselves available every day to pass on what they have learned and lived.
The exhibition is completed by ancient recipes, typical dishes, dishes cooked in celebrative and mundane evenings to arouse curiosity, sympathy, imagination in visitors and aspiring cooks who aim to become like these professionals who were able to create a kind of "mark of origin" of the Altoliventina land.
