SHORT DESCRIPTION: IIS "Il Tagliamento” in Spilimbergo is a secondary school with four curricula: agriculture, industry, IT and tourism. More than a normal school, it houses an agricultural estate, an educational and social farm and a large park. Various activities take place on the premises, including sensory trails, guided tours of the botanical garden, walks through the rose gardens with more than 100 varieties and through the apple orchards, as well as workshops on planting, growing and harvesting of vegetables, bulb planting and the growing cycles of plants and flowers.
